Choice Tropical: Miondo
Cassava sticks, or Miondo, are fermented cassava that has been wrapped in leaves and boiled. You peel a Mondo (single), which is a little sticky, fold it, dip it in the stew, and then bite off a piece to eat the Ndol with Miondo.
Miondo are a great alternative to bread because of their similarities in consumption to bobolo but are considerably thicker.
My Sasun is the best place to order Miondo online and cassava is the only ingredient.
