So youβve heard the news:Β My Sasun is now a full marketplace. Oh yes, we will now be connecting African vendors to thousands of customers across the U.S. and Canada. Isn't that beautiful?π
Last week, we announced something big which is that: My Sasun is now transitioning into a full marketplace! Yaaay! π
The response has been amazing, and we canβt thank you enough for all the interest youβve shown so far.
Until now, My Sasun has been a trusted store where you could find African foods and essentials. But now we are moving a step further. Instead of only selling directly, weβre opening the doors for other vendors and businesses to list their products with us too. So, what this looks like is that we are turning one small store into a large African marketplace where many sellers gather under one roof.
Nigerians love all three, but Titus (mackerel) is the classic go-to for rich, flavorful stew. Panla (stockfish) gives a traditional taste, while catfish adds that fresh, juicy bite especially in pepper soup and fresh stews.
Leaving Nigeria doesnβt just mean leaving behind family and friends. It means leaving behind the food. And to be frank, Nigerian food is not something you just βreplaceβ abroad. You can try to explain it to others, you can try to cook it in your new kitchen, but some things just donβt taste the same outside Naija.
